Social publishing in Fieldified

Social publishing helps your business stay visible on Facebook and Google Business Profile without managing every post in a separate tool.

Use it to:

  • Promote services
  • Share completed work
  • Publish seasonal updates
  • Post business announcements
  • Turn showcase content into social posts
  • Plan content in advance

Fieldified AI can draft post text from your topic, service, or completed-job details. Review and edit every draft before publishing.

Create a social post

  1. Open Marketing Tools.
  2. Select Social Publishing.
  3. Select New Post.
  4. Choose Write a Post or start with an AI-assisted draft.
  5. Enter the message.
  6. Select Facebook, Google Business Profile, or both.
  7. Add relevant photos.
  8. Preview the post for each channel.
  9. Select Publish Now or schedule it for later.

Keep the message specific to the selected image and service. Confirm client permission before using property photos, names, addresses, or other identifying details.

Draft a post with AI

Provide a clear prompt describing:

  • The service to highlight
  • The intended audience
  • The tone
  • The client benefit
  • The desired call to action
  • Any wording to avoid

Fieldified prepares a draft from that direction. Before publishing:

  1. Confirm that every factual claim is correct.
  2. Remove details that identify the client without permission.
  3. Adjust the tone to match your business.
  4. Check spelling, links, and contact details.
  5. Review the final post on every selected channel.

AI suggestions remain drafts until a user publishes or schedules them.

Schedule a post

  1. Create or open the draft.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Confirm the social channels.
  4. Open Schedule Date.
  5. Choose the publishing date and time.
  6. Save the schedule.
  7. Select Schedule to confirm.

Scheduled posts appear in the scheduled view. You can edit or cancel them before publishing.

Use the company timezone when planning content for a specific hour. Consider the audience’s local time when the business serves more than one region.

Edit or remove a post

Edit a draft or scheduled post

  1. Open Marketing Tools > Social Publishing.
  2. Select the post.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Update the content, media, channels, or schedule.
  5. Save the changes.

Editing in Fieldified affects the Fieldified draft or pending schedule. A post that is already live may also need to be edited directly on the social platform, depending on platform capabilities.

Delete a post

  1. Open the post.
  2. Select Delete Post.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Deleting a draft or scheduled post is permanent. Removing a Fieldified record of a published post does not necessarily remove the live content from Facebook or Google.

Connect social accounts

Fieldified needs permission to publish to the selected Facebook page or Google Business Profile.

Start a new post and select a disconnected channel to begin its connection flow.

Connect a Facebook page

  1. Select Facebook as a publishing channel.
  2. Select Connect Account.
  3. Continue to Facebook.
  4. Sign in with the Facebook account that manages the business page.
  5. Review the requested permissions.
  6. Select the correct business page.
  7. Approve the connection.
  8. Return to Fieldified and confirm the page.

The signed-in Facebook user must have sufficient access to publish on the selected page.

Connect a Google Business Profile

  1. Select Google Business Profile as a publishing channel.
  2. Select Connect Account.
  3. Sign in to the Google account that manages the profile.
  4. Complete two-factor authentication when prompted.
  5. Review and approve the requested permissions.
  6. Select the verified business profile.
  7. Confirm the connection in Fieldified.

The publishing connection is separate from other Google integrations used for requests, bookings, maps, or reviews.

Maintain account access

Reconnect a channel when:

  • The connected user changes their password.
  • The platform revokes the authorization.
  • The user loses access to the page or profile.
  • The business page is transferred.
  • Publishing begins to fail with an authorization error.

Use a business-managed account rather than an employee’s personal ownership wherever the platform supports it.

Publish a completed-work showcase

Fieldified can build a social draft from a job showcase.

  1. Open Marketing Tools > Work Showcase.
  2. Select New Showcase.
  3. Choose a recommended job or search all jobs.
  4. Select appropriate photos.
  5. Write or review the showcase description.
  6. Continue to the social-post preview.
  7. Edit the post text, channels, and publishing time.
  8. Publish or schedule it.

The generated post is only a starting point. Confirm image quality, client permission, and the accuracy of the work description.

See Turn Completed Work into a Showcase.

Review social post history

The social-post list shows:

  • Content or title
  • Creator
  • Status
  • Channel
  • Last updated date

Open a record to see its message, media, destination, publishing time, and status details.

Filter by:

  • Creator
  • Status
  • Channel

Use search to find a post by its title or content.

Understand post statuses

  • Draft: Saved but not scheduled or published.
  • Recommended: Suggested from recent business activity and ready for review.
  • Scheduled: Confirmed for a future publishing time.
  • Published: Successfully sent to the selected social channel.
  • Missed: A recommendation passed its suggested publishing window.
  • Failed: The platform rejected the post or the connection could not publish it.

A missed recommendation can still be edited and published. For a failed post, review the platform connection, permissions, media format, and displayed error before retrying.

Fieldified can review recent work and identify content suitable for social media.

A recommendation can include:

  • Suggested topic
  • Draft text
  • Related photos
  • Recommended timing
  • Suggested channel

To use one:

  1. Open a post with Recommended status.
  2. Review the related work and media.
  3. Edit the message.
  4. Confirm client permission.
  5. Publish immediately or schedule it.

Recommendations never publish without user review.

Add social activity to the marketing plan

  1. Open Marketing Tools > Marketing Plan.
  2. Select Add Activity.
  3. Choose Social Post.
  4. Enter the topic, channels, owner, and due or publish date.
  5. Save the activity.

When the activity is ready, open it to create, schedule, and publish the post.

Prepare your business identity

Keep company details and visual identity consistent across Fieldified and the connected social profiles.
