Schedule overview

Learn how the Fieldified schedule helps you manage visits, tasks, events, assessments, reminders, routes, and dispatch.

The Fieldified Schedule is the central hub for assigning work, tracking progress, and making same-day changes. It gives dispatchers and managers a calendar view of the team’s workload while giving fieldworkers the appointment details they need to complete the work.

Overview

Use the schedule to:

  • See visits, request assessments, tasks, events, and reminders.
  • Switch between day, week, month, and grouped team views.
  • Filter by item type, team member, and status.
  • Create new work from open time slots.
  • Reschedule and reassign appointments.
  • Open appointment details.
  • Add a map panel and unscheduled appointment panel.
  • Optimize routes and prepare daily handoffs.

What appears on the schedule

Fieldified shows these schedule item types:

  • Job visits: Scheduled appointments connected to a job.
  • Request assessments: Scheduled assessment appointments connected to a request.
  • Tasks: Internal work that does not need to become a billable job.
  • Calendar events: Team events such as meetings, blocked time, or internal appointments.
  • Reminders: Quote follow-ups and invoice reminders that help keep sales and billing moving.
  • Completed items: Items marked complete appear with completed styling so upcoming work remains easier to scan.

Use the controls at the top of the schedule to move around:

  • Date picker: Jump to a specific day, week, or month.
  • Back and forward: Move to the previous or next period.
  • Today: Return to the current day, week, or month.
  • View selector: Switch between day, week, month, and grouped views.
  • Unscheduled panel: Review visits or tasks that need a date or time.
  • Map panel: See appointment locations and route context.
  • More actions: Create work, reschedule, reassign, open settings, or use dispatch tools.

Business hours from Company Settings help the schedule show working time clearly. Team member availability and assignments are managed from Manage Team and the schedule itself.

Schedule views

Use:

Filters and access

Users with permission to view other schedules can filter by team member. Users with own-schedule access are kept focused on their own assigned work.

The schedule respects role permissions for viewing, editing, deleting, and completing schedule items. Admins can review schedule access from Roles and Permissions.

Use filters to show or hide:

  • Visits.
  • Request assessments.
  • Tasks.
  • Events.
  • Reminders.
  • Specific team members.
  • Overdue, upcoming, completed, and confirmed appointments.

Clear filters when an appointment is missing from the view.

Create work from the schedule

Depending on permissions, use an open schedule slot or More Actions to create:

  • A new job.
  • A new request.
  • A new task.
  • A new calendar event.

When creating work from the schedule, confirm the client, property, title, instructions, team assignment, date, time, duration, and line items before saving.

Edit appointments from the schedule

Click an appointment to open a preview. From the preview, you can:

  • Mark the item complete.
  • Add or remove assigned team members.
  • Edit date, time, duration, or assignment.
  • Open full details.
  • Navigate to the related request, job, or client.

When rescheduling a visit, send a rescheduling notification so the client knows the appointment changed. Review the message before sending by email or text.

Personalize your schedule

Use schedule settings to choose how the calendar should display:

  • Appointment layout.
  • Completed appointment styling.
  • Day view orientation.
  • Weekend visibility.
  • Calendar sync.
  • Day sheet options.
