Work

Jobs list page and key metrics

Use job list metrics, statuses, filters, and search to manage active work.

The jobs list is where operations teams view, track, and manage scheduled and in-progress work. Use it to understand what is active, what is upcoming, what is late, and what needs invoicing.

Key metrics on the jobs list

The metrics at the top of the jobs list summarize work activity.

Common metrics include:

  • Overview: A breakdown of jobs by status.
  • Recent visits: Visits scheduled within the recent period, including related job value.
  • Visits scheduled: Upcoming visits scheduled in the next period.
  • Job value: Value tied to the selected visit or job range.

These metrics help managers understand workload, upcoming capacity, and billing opportunities.

Users who review job metrics usually need access to jobs and pricing. Manage access in Roles and Permissions.

Filter jobs

Use filters to focus the list on work that needs action.

Filter by:

  • Status.
  • Job type.
  • Client.
  • Property.
  • Assigned team member.
  • Salesperson.
  • Date range.

When filtered, review the list heading and metrics so you know whether you are seeing all jobs or only the filtered set.

Search jobs

Use search when you know part of the job information.

Search by:

  • Client name.
  • Company name.
  • Job title.
  • Job number.
  • Property address.
  • Service name.

Search is helpful when a client calls and the office needs the job quickly.

Sort the jobs list

Sort the list to match the review task.

Common sort columns include:

  • Client.
  • Job number.
  • Next visit or schedule.
  • Status.
  • Total.

For daily dispatch, sort by next visit. For billing review, sort by status or total.

Actions on the jobs list

From the jobs list, use actions such as:

  • Create a new job.
  • Manage checklists.
  • Share online booking.
  • Import jobs.
  • Open a job.
  • Archive or close jobs after review.

Use Checklists for form setup and Import jobs for CSV imports.

Job statuses

Statuses show where work sits operationally.

Common job statuses include:

  • Active: Jobs in progress.
  • Upcoming: Jobs with future visits scheduled.
  • Today: Jobs with visits scheduled today.
  • Late: Active jobs with past visits that are not complete.
  • Unscheduled: Jobs with visits that need dates later.
  • Action required: Jobs with no more upcoming visits that need scheduling, closure, or review.
  • Requires invoicing: Jobs with invoice reminders that are due or overdue.
  • Ending within 30 days: Jobs with an end date approaching.
  • Archived: Closed jobs that no longer need active work.

Use statuses to decide what dispatch, operations, and billing should review next.

Daily jobs review workflow

A useful daily review looks like this:

  1. Open Jobs.
  2. Review today’s jobs and late jobs.
  3. Filter to action required.
  4. Schedule more visits or close jobs.
  5. Filter to requires invoicing.
  6. Create invoices or adjust reminders.
  7. Review upcoming visits for team capacity.

Use Jobs Performance Report for deeper reporting.
