Turn Completed Work into a Showcase

Build reusable marketing stories from completed jobs and publish them to your website, campaigns, and social channels.

Showcase your best work

A work showcase turns a completed job into reusable marketing content.

One showcase can support:

  • Your Fieldified website
  • Email campaigns
  • Facebook posts
  • Google Business Profile posts
  • Referral and sales conversations

The showcase combines selected job photos with a short description of the problem, service, and result.

Prepare the completed job

Before creating a showcase, review the job in Jobs.

A strong showcase candidate has:

  • Clear before, during, or after photos
  • A completed service description
  • An accurate job title
  • A result that demonstrates the value of the work
  • Client permission for the intended use

Do not publish:

  • Client names without permission
  • Street numbers or full addresses
  • Faces, licence plates, access codes, or personal documents
  • Notes intended only for the field team
  • Images showing unsafe or unfinished work

Create a showcase

  1. Open Marketing Tools.
  2. Select Work Showcase.
  3. Select New Showcase.
  4. Choose a job from Recommended Jobs or All Jobs.
  5. Select the photos to use.
  6. Review the suggested title and description.
  7. Edit the content for accuracy and privacy.
  8. Choose where the showcase should appear.
  9. Publish immediately, save a draft, or schedule related social content.

Fieldified AI can recommend jobs with useful photos and descriptions. A recommendation is never published without user review.

Choose effective photos

Use images that:

  • Are sharp and well lit
  • Show the actual service or result
  • Use a consistent orientation where possible
  • Avoid clutter unrelated to the work
  • Explain the transformation without relying on private details

Arrange the images in a logical order. For before-and-after content, label or describe the sequence clearly.

Confirm that the business has permission to use photos captured on the client’s property for each selected destination.

Write the showcase story

Structure the description around:

  1. The client’s general need, without identifying them
  2. The service or approach
  3. A meaningful detail about the work
  4. The result
  5. The service area or category

For example:

This drainage improvement helped redirect standing water away from a frequently
used garden area. Our team regraded the problem section, installed the drainage
path, and restored the surface for a clean finished result.

Avoid unverified performance claims, guarantees, or technical conclusions that are not supported by the job record.

Select publishing destinations

Website

Publish the showcase to the website portfolio or completed-work area. Website showcases can provide long-lived proof of experience and support local search relevance.

Social channels

Create a Facebook or Google Business Profile post from the showcase photos and description. Review the shorter social caption separately from the website version.

Email campaigns

Select a showcase when building a relevant campaign. Use it to demonstrate a service rather than sending the same example to every client.

Manage showcase history

The showcase list can display:

  • Content or title
  • Creator
  • Status
  • Destination or channel
  • Last updated date

Filter by:

  • Creator
  • Status
  • Channel

Open a showcase to review or update its content and destinations.

Understand showcase statuses

  • Draft: Saved but not published.
  • Recommended: Suggested from a completed job.
  • Published: Live on at least one selected destination.
  • Scheduled: Related publishing is planned for a future time.
  • Missed: A recommendation passed its suggested publishing window.
  • Failed: A destination rejected the content or lost authorization.

A missed showcase can still be edited and published. For a failed destination, review its connection and the media requirements before retrying.

Fieldified can identify recent completed jobs with strong photos or descriptions.

To review a recommendation:

  1. Open Marketing Tools > Work Showcase.
  2. Filter for Recommended.
  3. Open the suggested job.
  4. Confirm the job is complete.
  5. Review photo quality and client permission.
  6. Rewrite the description as needed.
  7. Publish or schedule the content.

When the recommended window passes, the status changes to Missed. This does not prevent later publication.

Add a showcase to the marketing plan

  1. Open Marketing Tools > Marketing Plan.
  2. Select Add Activity.
  3. Choose Work Showcase.
  4. Select the job or existing showcase.
  5. Assign an owner.
  6. Choose the target date and destinations.
  7. Save the activity.

The marketing plan records the commitment; the showcase remains a draft until it is reviewed and published.

Update or retire content

Review published showcases when:

  • Service offerings change.
  • A client withdraws permission.
  • Images become outdated.
  • A claim or description needs correction.
  • The job no longer represents current standards.

A separately published social post can remain live after its Fieldified showcase is removed. Check each external destination.
