Dashboard

Use the dashboard to monitor work, revenue, scheduling, assignments, and follow-up priorities.

The dashboard gives managers and team members a high-level view of Fieldified activity. It helps you move from overview to action quickly.

What is the dashboard?

The dashboard gives you an overview of what is happening in the account. What appears depends on role, permissions, assignments, and enabled workflows.

Use it to review:

  • Recommended actions.
  • Assignments.
  • Outstanding balances.
  • Past due invoices.
  • Upcoming jobs.
  • Today’s hours.
  • Requests and quotes needing attention.
  • Jobs requiring invoicing.

Recommended actions point you to records that need attention.

Examples include:

  • Scheduled items overdue: Visits, assessments, tasks, or events whose scheduled time has passed but are not complete.
  • Unassigned scheduled items: Schedule items that need a team member assignment.
  • Requests ready for review: Requests that have not been converted, quoted, or scheduled for assessment.
  • Quotes with changes requested: Client-requested quote changes waiting for review.
  • Approved quotes to convert to jobs: Quotes approved by clients or internally and ready to become jobs.
  • Jobs ending within 30 days: Recurring jobs approaching their end date.
  • Jobs requiring invoicing: Jobs with invoice reminders or completed work waiting for billing.
  • Draft invoices to send: Invoices prepared but not sent or marked sent.

Select a recommended action to open the filtered list or related workflow.

Assignments

The assignments section shows scheduled items assigned to team members for the current date, plus unassigned work when relevant.

Use assignments to:

  • See who has work today.
  • Find unassigned visits, assessments, tasks, or events.
  • Open schedule items.
  • Move into dispatch decisions.

Open Schedule when assignments need to be changed.

Outstanding balances

Outstanding balances summarize what clients owe.

Use this section to review:

  • Total balance owed.
  • Clients with balances.
  • Top overdue balances.
  • Links into receivables reporting.

Past due invoices

Past due invoices are unpaid invoices whose due date has passed. Invoices that are awaiting payment but not due yet can also appear for billing review.

Use this section to:

  • Contact clients.
  • Record payments.
  • Send reminders.
  • Mark invoices paid.
  • Review bad debt.

Upcoming jobs

Upcoming jobs show scheduled work across near-term date ranges such as the next 7 days, 8-14 days, and unscheduled work.

Use this section to review:

  • Upcoming workload.
  • Job value.
  • Whether jobs need scheduling.
  • Which jobs should be invoiced soon.

Today’s hours

Today’s hours show time logged today. Users with timesheet access can review all users, while other users see their own time.

From this section, users can:

  • Review time logged today.
  • Start a timer.
  • Open timesheets.
  • Check whether a timer is currently running.

Daily workflow

At the start of the day:

  1. Review recommended actions.
  2. Assign unassigned schedule items.
  3. Open overdue items.
  4. Review approved quotes and jobs requiring invoicing.
  5. Check past due invoices.
  6. Review today’s hours during dispatch or payroll cleanup.
