Online booking lets clients choose a service, share job details, and schedule work based on your team’s availability. Use it when clients can confidently book an appointment without calling your office first.
Manage booking forms in Client Hub settings.
Request forms and booking forms
Use different forms for different intake workflows:
- Request forms collect details so your team can review the work before scheduling.
- Assessment booking forms let clients schedule an assessment or estimate visit.
- Job booking forms let clients book a service directly into your schedule.
Create separate forms when you offer both consultations and directly bookable services.
Make a form bookable
In the form builder, add a booking question that matches the workflow.
Use:
- Assessment booking when the client should schedule an inspection or estimate.
- Job booking when the client should schedule the actual service.
A form should contain one booking type so the client experience stays clear.
Booking availability
Availability controls which times clients can choose.
Review:
- Business hours.
- Team member availability.
- Service duration.
- Buffer time.
- Blocked time on the schedule.
- Assigned team members.
Open Manage Team to review team availability.
Efficient scheduling
Use booking rules that protect the schedule.
For example:
- Add buffer time between bookings.
- Use realistic service durations.
- Limit bookable services to work your team can schedule consistently.
- Keep unavailable days blocked.
- Use arrival windows when exact timing can shift.
This keeps online bookings useful for clients and realistic for dispatch.
Set up bookable services
Bookable services come from your products and services list.
Use Products and Services to review:
- Service name.
- Description.
- Price.
- Duration.
- Quantity rules.
- Whether the service is bookable.
- Which team members can perform it.
Durations help Fieldified calculate available appointment times.
Allow quantities
For services where clients can book more than one unit, allow quantity selection.
Use minimum and maximum quantities so the booking remains operationally realistic. When quantity changes, duration and price can scale with the selected quantity.
Set up bookable team members
Online bookings are assigned based on team availability and service setup.
For each bookable team member, review:
- Work days.
- Start and end times.
- Services they can perform.
- Scheduled visits, tasks, or time away.
Blocked schedule items keep team members from being booked during unavailable times.
Share booking links
Each form has a shareable link.
Use booking links on:
- Website buttons.
- Social profiles.
- Google Business Profile.
- Email signatures.
- Paid campaigns.
- QR codes.
See Add request and booking forms to your website and social media for placement ideas.
Google Business Profile
Connect your booking or request form to Google so clients can book from Google Search or Maps.
See Google Business Profiles for the setup workflow.
Google Analytics
Add Google Analytics tracking to request and booking forms when you want to measure form visits, submissions, and campaign performance.
See Google Analytics tracking for requests and bookings for conversion tracking setup.
