Google Analytics tracking for requests and bookings

Track online request and booking activity in Google Analytics.

Google Analytics tracking helps you understand which website pages, ads, and campaigns drive Fieldified request or booking submissions. Connect your forms to Google Analytics 4 so form views and conversions can be measured.

Manage forms in Client Hub settings.

Find your Google Analytics tracking code

Before adding tracking to a Fieldified form, copy your Google Analytics 4 measurement ID or tracking code from Google Analytics.

Keep the code handy while editing the request or booking form.

Add tracking to request and booking forms

For each form you want to track:

  1. Open Client Hub or request and booking settings.
  2. Find the form.
  3. Open more actions.
  4. Add or edit tracking.
  5. Paste the Google Analytics tracking code.
  6. Save.

Repeat this for each request form, assessment booking form, or job booking form you want to measure.

Set up cross-domain measurement

If clients move between your website and a Fieldified-hosted form, set up cross-domain measurement in Google Analytics.

This helps Google Analytics understand the form submission is part of the same client journey instead of a separate session.

Review your domain setup in Google Analytics and add the Fieldified form domain when needed.

Track conversions

Use Google Analytics key events to measure conversion.

Common events include:

  • Request form submission.
  • Booking form submission.
  • Lead generation.
  • Purchase or booking completion.

Mark the correct events as key events in Google Analytics so campaign and page performance can be measured.

When sharing booking or request forms in campaigns, use campaign parameters consistently.

Track:

  • Source.
  • Medium.
  • Campaign.
  • Content.
  • Service line.

This helps compare form performance across websites, ads, email campaigns, social media, and Google Business Profile.

Compare with Fieldified reporting

Google Analytics tells you how people reached and submitted forms. Fieldified reports show what happened after the submission.

Compare analytics with:

This helps you understand not only which campaigns create leads, but which ones create profitable work.

Follow the cookie consent and tracking requirements for the regions where you operate.

If your website uses a cookie banner or consent manager, make sure the Fieldified form tracking setup aligns with your privacy policy and consent settings.
