Learn the main tools and workflow patterns in the Fieldified schedule.

The Fieldified schedule is designed to help dispatchers, admins, managers, and fieldworkers manage calendar work with fewer clicks and a clearer view of the day.

Overview

The schedule brings together:

  • Job visits.
  • Request assessments.
  • Tasks.
  • Events.
  • Quote reminders.
  • Invoice reminders.
  • Unscheduled appointments.
  • Map and route tools.

Use it to plan the day, make live dispatch changes, balance workloads, optimize routes, and communicate appointment changes to clients and team members.

Use the top navigation to:

  • Move backward or forward by day, week, or month.
  • Return to today.
  • Select a specific date.
  • Change the schedule view.
  • Open the unscheduled panel.
  • Open the map panel.
  • Filter by type, team member, and status.
  • Open schedule settings.

Schedule views

Month view

Use Month view for long-range planning, busy periods, and workload review. It shows a full calendar month with visits, assessments, tasks, events, and reminders.

Week view

Use Week view to balance team capacity across several days. It is useful for dispatch planning, equipment planning, and reviewing where work can be moved.

Day view

Use Day view for real-time dispatch. Day view can be vertical or horizontal and is the best place to adjust same-day work.

Find a time

Use Find a Time when creating a new job, request, task, or event from the schedule.

The schedule can show open time based on:

  • Team member working hours.
  • Existing appointments.
  • Appointment duration.
  • Drive time between properties.
  • Assigned team members.

After choosing a time, review the client, property, title, instructions, line items, team, date, and time before saving.

Drive time

Drive time helps dispatchers understand whether a team member can realistically travel between appointments.

When scheduling, review:

  • Time from the previous appointment.
  • Time to the next appointment.
  • Team member availability.
  • Conflicting appointments.
  • Unfeasible travel warnings.

Create clients and properties while booking

When creating work from the schedule, add a new client or property if the appointment is for someone not already in Fieldified. This keeps the schedule, client record, and work record connected from the beginning.

Optimize your route

Use Route planning from the schedule to reorder anytime visits, reduce backtracking, and prepare the day for each team member.

Send a rescheduling notification

When you move a visit, Fieldified can prompt you to notify the client. Review the message, choose email or text, and send the update so the client knows the new appointment time.

Frequently asked questions

Why can I not see an appointment?

Check the date range, filters, assigned team members, item type, status, and permissions.

Why is an appointment greyed out?

Completed or past items use completed styling so upcoming work is easier to scan.

Can I create work directly from the schedule?

Yes. Use an open time slot or the schedule actions menu to create jobs, requests, tasks, and events.

Can fieldworkers see schedule changes?

Yes. Schedule changes update the assigned team member’s Fieldified schedule and can also trigger notifications based on your settings.
